Yupz... its a week plus since i left hsbc... glad i didnt hold back in staying... just landed another job at a subsidary firm of Spore Technologies as Accounts Asst..

Know the name may sound nice at first hear.. but it involves basically only 'kuching kurak' work... Went for interview today early in morn had to drag myself out of bed!! haiz..my slp... had to travel a journey as it's at yck.. only to find out later...had to walk 20 mins walk to their building...really far....

At the interview, only to find out more... well actually was to to do calling for chasing bad debts~! and worst that's the main job scope! and that's what i mind the most.. in the end i replied her had to think abt it and left first.. mins after i left their office and the agent called me shouting to me like " hey yingkai~~ you don't want the job?? Carmen( hr exec ) likes you a lot! she wants to take you! " i was like... stumped of cuz.. cuz the person who interviewed me in the first place was not her but her subordinate..i have never seen her at all.. not even say spoke to her.. only her subordinate pass the msg to her on how she felt about me... hai...wad a crap agents can come out with...

I told my agent i had to consider first as i had another job interview in the afternoon and coincidentally under the same company as well... but this time was through the employer priscilla directly... Priscilla was under Carmen's dept of hq as well...but both didnt know they offered me 2 jobs together... eventually, my agent actually revealed to Carmen that " Aiya yingkai has so many interviews leh" Well, i believe the agent sure has told Carmen the truth about Priscilla offering me the job at a bit higher pay as well... but only on two month basis instead of six months..

Four of us were busy cross- calling each other ( Priscilla, Carmen, my agent and me )... which i find it so sick of the whole thing.. in the end i dunno wad Carmen told Priscilla, Priscilla actually called me to cancel the interview.. which i get the meaning... on the pretext that they had to cancel all interviews for the job at hq side and do some shortlisting on the candidates first before they confirm for interview... which i got the meaning... and guess wad... Pris was still stammering... haiz...if u wanna lie... give a better one thou...


I was damn pissed off...but still manage to react calmly... wad to do ... guess they really need a long term temp person on the first side... well.. my agent was not too bad.. dunno how she fought.. managed to get me extra 200 bucks into my monthly pay which a non undergrad could hardly get.. it was not too much ... but frankly speaking it's hard to get the same rate elsewhere...ha..but i still complain of the work scope saying i was not really into whole calling... somehow they manage to convince me to fit me into other duties related to finance if poss other than callin... well, i never seen a company accomodated me so much... just accept and try lor..else feel very bad to them... not that i very buai hiao bai... but maybe hm..looks convincingly sincere?? heez...
