Today was my first day in a foreign bank at dohby ghaut… was looking forward to it since last week.

Well first day went under a temp colleague… Sabrina, she demonstrated the methods to update data entry of all clients….. So many thousands…

That’s nt all ..best part is I had to see and take down notes myself…. And to learn within today~~

Opening tens over screens, memorize all codes, passwords and initials, and to play ard w two computers all day….update whole day…. Estimated ard to finish 200 plus a/c min per day… but only 20 half completed for 6 hours~~~ argh….. such a failure… this environment is strictly fast paced…. Learn fast , do fast, take more new tasks fast too…. Simple data entry but hard to perform…. Almost as if expecting u to learn full sets of A/C within one day!

Dahpne the one whom I will be taking over her place… and the one to teach me the stuff also… was actually an Asean Scholar, younger than me…. But she knew everything at the back of her hand, and learns things as quick as lighting…. Not that all those ppl are non approachable.. but they have their own work piling up and it seems hard trying to distract them…. At this point in time, where one needs to pick up her skills, i cant be left independent like surviving in a desert w/o water…

How stress to let a scholar teach me…..~~~~ argh…… well…. Not forgetting I made the com hang more than thrice, lock the pass word and had to retrieve from the main office., and had to bother Dahpne… hai paiseh ler……

The whole place is lively but scary… so many ppl…. But u only feel that u are the only one der…it’s time to be independent perhaps….
