Recent happenings- trip to china (7/6/04 – 14/6/04 )

Sorry pals..i noe its been a while since I updated my blog… well here I am back again ya….

Well, in case u wanna know… I’m not schling, neither am I working nw… should I define it as rotting…? ;p

Quitted my previous job in early june, that’s why I left for china on a long vacation in mid june… went w my parents and my bro… was a fun trip and learnt quite a no of history of china… visited places like Suzhou, Hangzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing and lastly Shanghai…. Everyday was a rush cuz we only had a day to tour each province.. but Shanghai was bit better had the chance to tour its Big City free and easy for two days thou…Indeed China is forever changing even so for every few months… more expressways to link the provinces up and more transport too…. In case anyone won’t know… china has its fav phrase too : when u reach Nanjing, you will see “ Shi Tou ” aka Stones.. in Suzhou its called seeing “ Ya Tou ” aka pretty babes, in Wuxi, its called “ Ken Gu Tou ” aka eating bones cuz its famous for its Pork Ribs, in Hangzhou its another one called “ Kan Qiao Tou ” aka looking at man made bridges… lastly will be the most voted Shanghai aka “ Kan Ren Tou ” aka seeing ppl’s heads cuz the city is so… so big… well its definitely interesting…

Well, in China one good thing any one must learn is to Bargain!!!! Of cuz… goods produced directly from china are at low cost, of cuz must kill their price to as low as 1/3 of their original price!! Else you will be cheated wor~~~ definitely after the trip I have learnt to becum an auntie haha…. In Shanghai then… also the last of all provinces visited, it’s the best, famous for its dumplings and imitated real like branded goods aka shui huo… the best one cant miss if they were to go der… and ppl der extremely rude.. dun be surprised if they knock into you or push you all the way out of the train w/o even saying sorry~~ well. .hated it was being touched so many times on my shoulders for nothing~! Of course not forgetting Shanghainese also have absolutely no fashion sense… they can wear red blouse, green skirts, black and white socks cum yellow shoes… make me feel like errr…….hahha….

One amazing fact tt I actually found out… was the Nan Pu Da Qiao that links to Shanghai… der’s this wording that was actually hand written by the former Deng Xiao Ping on the high Bridge…. The Chinese word “ PU ” in case for Chinese who knows the word, the last stroke/ dot of the word is actually written below the original stroke where it was supposed to be written… of cuz nt becuz Deng Xiao Ping too short or wad cant reach for that.. but it actually has one significant meaning… Deng Xiao Ping wants to wait for Shanghai to be the most prosperous state in China and one of the best tt attracts investors before he can peacefully change the stroke back to original proudly…unfortunately, when his dream was finally realized, he did not have the chance to change it, only HE is the one who has the authority to change it, derfore to this date the word has still remained incorrect on tt high bridge…

it's 1:55 AM now
